Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO Spotfire

We are using Spotfire to create an analytics platform for our software that we give access to our customers.

Pros

  • Great analytics tool
  • Self service BI
  • Custom HTML/JavaScript/Python

Cons

  • More visually dynamic
  • Ease of use
I have used Tableau. Spotfire is not as easy to learn as Tableau and is does not create as engaging of visualizations.
  • In-person training
The training was decent. The trainer did not cater the training to our needs and some of it was not needed
Best suited for analytics projects, not as well suited for embedding and deploying.
