Overall Satisfaction with Spotfire

I am using Spotfire on my own for some of the biological data analysis. I was first introduced to it at a biotech company I was involved with and since then, have on and off again used Spotfire for data analysis when Excel just won't do wither for graphic representation or analysis.
  • Excellent visualization of data in different formats
  • Strong data analysis tools beyond basic graphing and functions
  • The user interface can be overwhelming at times
  • Training and tutorials on the site can be improved by adding a more beginner section
We have not use any other Spotfire products, at this time the Spotfire data analysis has been sufficient.
I haven't only tried to use Spotfire as this was the first one I was introduced too and have not tried to search around for others as this one worked well for me.
Spotfire may be well suited in the case that you have large amounts of data to go through and you want better visualization than the graphics excel or graph-pad can offer.

Spotfire Training

  • Self-taught
I felt out of touch with many of the features on spotfire. An in-person training session would be most useful
