I recently used Spotfire to build a joint interest payout template to help me gauge on which properties had reached paid out the status and required to bring carried interest owners back in the deck. The company was using an antiquated system to prepare payout statements but many of the statements had errors or bad data, and there was no transparency to calculate penalty uplift charges.
- Report Automation
- Enforce data integrity.
- Visual interpretation of data.
- Guidance on what functions exist in Spotfire desktop version versus Spotfire Cloud version.
- Create Spotfire desktop version for Mac operating system that is comparable to Windows operation desktop version.
- Using Spotfire to manage our reporting from our audit database kept our team from unnecessarily spending additional funds to overhaul our database with a new third-party application. Spotfire allowed our team to be optimal without investing.
My organization has info links that integrate into our enterprise system (SAP). There are other integration points, but we're not aware of any at this time.
Spotfire has intuitive coding formulae that seem easy to implement and very similar to excel formulae commands. Adding a table and creating visitations/tables is very easy and also intuitive.
