Supporting the BEST

I use Unique Learning System (Everway) every single day in my classrooms daily instruction. I use it to instruct my wide range of abilities on the monthly thematic topic (alternating between science and social studies) for reading comprehension as well as engagement for mathematical competencies at multiple levels (picture supports for addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, algebra, geometry, etc.). In the afternoons, my students engage in the weekly News to You topics. This is where we sometimes run into occasional typos on the worksheets that need correcting prior to my printing for student usage. These tend to come up with the "beginning letter print" where the word doesn't always match up with the letter that the students are supposed to be tracing. For example word "athlete" but the letter to trace might be a "p".

Helps make lesson planning "easier" with the units. When given the library, it helps find books, but teacher still needs to create activities to go along with lessons.

Student test scores have improved on statewide test assessments! Their IEP goals have gone up as a result of continued use of daily Unique Learning System.
