Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Availability Suite
My team manages hundreds of virtual machines for all of development and tests through vSphere and we use this to backup a dozen or so of those VMs for tools and a gold test image.
- Our Veeam Backup job works nightly to address the all-inclusive package for products including the operating system, application files, settings, and user data. We have other solutions for data backups, but this gives us the whole package.
- Setting up the backups through the wizard was a breeze.
- I get an email after the job runs that is simple and easy to ensure the backups are working.
- Occasionally a snapshot isn't removed after the backups have finished. I'd like to know about it.
- I have an increased confidence level in recovering any of our tools that are lost now that we are using Veeam Backups.
We've used other backup solutions in the past that were expensive and not 100% reliable. Veeam gives us a backup solution that didn't cost extra and works reliably and consistently.
