Veeam Backup is a tool that helps us to take EFS backup natively in which user profile resides and help with the automatic backup and provide the restore feasibility as per our requirement. The backups can be sent to a different region or even on-prem for further protection and restore capabilities, its SLA can be utilized

Veeam help in disaster recovery for computing instance to another region in case of disaster, this process is rather seamless and help in bringing the services up and running in an automatic manner and reducing the manual intervention. The backup process to services or instances can be scheduled with multiple points of restoration and help in time of need.
The service is available almost 24x7, it profiles the data and restores as per the agreed SLA. It also helps us to protect the backup copies for further added resiliency as per the AWS best practices. The tool provides its availability in the management console and service throughout the time and location.
The Veeam provides a lot of free services and insight about the backup. The tool can easily be integrated with many automation and orchestration tools to include in the lifecycle. The backup is done through Lamba utilizing the triggers with cloud watch. The tools are much more efficient and economical than the other tools in the category.

The tool is good for offset backup and retention for long period connecting with the point of time restore and incremental backup, it is a very powerful tool. The tool is not good enough for automatic restoring and sending the backup to another AWS account. The tool is very good and provides various features even in the free version.
