We are using Veeam and AWS block storage for immutability. It addresses ransomeware.
- Ease of setup.
- Ease of use.
- How to videos.
- Split daily veeam back jobs and AWS offloading jobs.
- Veeam support is NOT all that helpful.
- Veeam should certify hardware which can be used to deploy their products.
- ROI has been immense.
- 3-2-1 backups rule well managed by Veeam AWS.
- Just in the midst of deploying backups on multi cloud, so will not be able to review at this time.
IBM Spectrum Protect is cumbersome to use for virtual env. backups.
