Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365
Backup of all virtual machines across organization and SharePoint 365 data
Pros
- Simple to use
- Speed of backup
Cons
- Logs could be easier to read.
- Could use ability to backup other online services, such as Dropbox.
- More reliable backups
- Less time spent correcting backup issues
Archival purposes primarily
I haven't had a need to utilize this as of yet but feel assured I can get my data back if we are maliciously attacked.
We only restore Office 365 to Office 365, but use it when a user has deleted a file inadvertently.
VM backup and file archiving
Acronis was more cumbersome and complicated to use in my opinion. We are a small staff and need simplicity.
