We use Veeam for our Enterprise Data Protection platform. We backup our on-premise SAN and NAS data using Veeam

We currently backup in the neighborhood of 1000 VMs and 25 physical servers.
- Veeam was able to backup our Exchange environment when other applications failed
- It has proven beneficial with Disaster recovery efforts
We were struggling to backup a few key applications with our previous product.
We are in the proof of concept phase with backing up to the cloud
We backup our NAS direct to tape. This feature (NDMP) is supported however it has its downfalls. We just didn't have the disk space to backup to disk.
