Currently we do not use VM in this capacity. We use it mostly for our on-prem servers and equipment.
- Veeam does the job we need very well no complaints
- Veeam brings the stability needed to know your backups are safe and secure
Before Veeam we used Symantec backup exec with a tape drive. At the time we decided that a NAS and a better product was needed and we reviewed Veeam. Since then we have been very happy with the product.
- We use the scale out repository for backup that are older then 7 days. This ability says our group time because we do not have to select or tell the system which jobs to upload.
We have. We originally used a tape backup because of our older product did not have this ability at the time.
