We are using Veeam Data Platform for our data protection. Our data is our Intelectual Property and Veeam Data Platform helps us create trustworthy backkups which we can test on functionality and which gives us the confidence that we can restore our data when needed. Although the Veeam Data Platform is very stable and reliable it is also good to know that in case of issues the support is fast and good.

Number of Workloads Protected

Our complete virtualized environment is currently backed up by Veeam Data Platform, except for the Kubernetes environment. This is, to be honoust, the only part I'm not happy with. Add-ons, like Kubernetes, will cost you a lot of extra effort and licenses to manage and backup. For such a product I would expect more integration in the Veeam Data Platform product, beter and simpler installation with a free base of Kubernetes entities.

Hard to say of a backup product. It's like a insurance you never hope to use

No trigger at all. Within our organisation the management already is aware of a good, stable and tested backup so the choice voor Veeam Data Platform was a quick one. Veeam Data Platform is way better than the previous backup solution used at our company, espcially used in combination with a good and fast storage layer

The backup of virtualized or physical environments is very good and straightforward. The management console is very easy to use and full vm restore, os single item restore, is also very easy to do. The seperate consoles for single item restores, like Exchange or SQL, are quick and simple to use.

Support Rating

To be honoust, when I entered a support ticket every time the initial response is within 4 hours which seems pretty awesome to me. when an issue is open for a longer time they tend to check in every once in a while, but never disturbing.
