Overall Satisfaction with Vertex
We currently use Vertex with purchase/sales transactions and tax calculations for all 50 states as we deal with multiple companies that span the US. We primarily specialize in sales / use TAX
- Ease of use for creating new databases
- Quickly provide detailed reports for all 50 states in exportable PDF format
- Customer support is on point and able to quickly resolve any issues
- Make full installation packages available at each release instead of yearly.
- Not require incrementally stepping through updates. I understand the reason behind it, but if you have to install a new copy in later part of the year you have to step through Jan->current month updates one by one and update every database. For large number of databases, it could take 5-20 minutes each time and then multiplied by number of months.
- The positive ROI is that it makes it much easier to calculate and predict tax liabilities for all 50 states and provide exportable reports for them
