Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Vista for organizing/billing large Mechanical Contracting Projects. This helps track job costs.

Pros and Cons

Organizes Jobs Well
Offers many distinct categories within job sites

It is extremely complicated for a software system, there are too many complicated steps
Not very much training is available online

Return on Investment

I work with Viewpoint on a smaller scale however trying to complete a small task such as a Change Order can become very complex.

This system is not very user friendly. I have had access to many software systems in the past and could even figure out the most complicated systems. Vista's software is a much more intricate. I have been working in Vista for almost a year consistently and continue to have questions. There isn't much available online as far as tutorials, or training.

When entering in costs for a job into the system it is nice to see the informaton updated and avialable right away.

My biggest complaint with this software systems is entering the data in more than one category to complete an action such as a Change Order. I have worked in several customer software systems and this is by far the most complicated.
