Overall Satisfaction with WebSphere Application Server

It's currently being used by myself for my personal project related to my college and it allowed me to work with a number of web servers.

Pros

  • Clean and simple console interface.
  • Simple SSO setup.
  • 99% uptime.
  • Easily scalable.

Cons

  • Takes a bit time to get a server up and running.
  • Node Sync.
  • Steep learning curve (time consuming because of its complexity).
Websphere Application Server supports enterprise Java open standards, streamlines deployment, has very flexible management capabilities and better reliability and availability.
If you're looking for a more complex server, then this is for you.
