Industry brand image and Zix was unique in it's offerings. There is now more competition as well.

[It's well suited] where corporate secure messaging is required. The financial, real estate, intellectual property or healthcare industries can particularly benefit. [You can] customize the portal to provide branding as well. You will not use Zix for day to day communication and it will create overhead. There are other solutions that are more easy to use in those circumstances.

Simplicity drives user adoption. Other than some hiccups the service has been reliable.
