Strong Password Management: Several reviewers have commended LastPass for its strong password management capabilities, including storage, generation, and security testing. Users appreciate the ability to easily store and update passwords, as well as the option to generate secure passwords automatically.
Seamless Integration: Many users value the seamless integration of LastPass across various devices and login forms. They appreciate being able to access their vault from anywhere using mobile device integration, as well as the convenience of browser extensions for finding and filling in login information.
Confusing and Outdated User Interface: Many users have found LastPass's user interface to be confusing, counterintuitive, and outdated, especially for new users. They suggest that the software should provide a folder view for easier navigation and better visibility of access permissions.
Issues with Autofill Function: Some users have mentioned that the autofill function in LastPass can be confusing for beginners. They also wish that the generate password function required fewer clicks within the system. Although they mention that it works well with the Chrome extension, they still find room for improvement.
Short Timeout Period: Users have expressed frustration with the short timeout on LastPass, stating that they would prefer to remain signed in for a longer period of time, such as 15-30 days. This inconvenience disrupts their workflow and requires frequent sign-ins.

Reviews
(1-5 of 5)- Random password generation.
- Integration into Chrome browser for ease of filling out login.
- Easy to use interface to browse and manage all passwords.
- Easily shared out over our organization.
- At times, I believe the timeout on the software is a bit too soon. I believe once authenticated, you should be signed in for at least 15-30 days.
- When filling out forms for login, sometimes the LastPass for Business button overlaps the eyeball icon to reveal what you are typing, making it difficult to see.
- Sometimes when searching for information in the Vault, I have noticed that it will not respond to the search criteria. It will appear as if nothing exists, but if you scroll down to it, it's there. So something with the interface needs improving.
- Mitigating MSP compromising is the biggest thing. We have not had a breach before LastPass for Business, and certainly not since. Many MSPs get compromised due to recycled passwords and having them stored insecurely.
- Another positive is that we are a reseller. When we see a client using autofill in a browser, which is insecure, we can offer them this solution, and being users ourselves, helps with the selling points.
- When onboarding new employees, being able to add them to LastPass for access already conditions them that this is the only way to manage passwords for our customers. This mitigates, if not fully eliminates, the possibility of security breaches.
- Client management.
- Remote Access.
- Maintaining Security
- Requiring that customers use it as a means of authentication to Microsoft Products.
If you need to create, store and share hundreds or thousands of passwords, use LastPass.
- Password Management
- Password Sharing
- Simplifying the Login Process
- Time saving on logins (finding, copying, pasting passwords and other credentials
- Fill functionality with Chrome Extension is easy
- When you have sites that have the same root URL but different login pages, it would be good if it did a better job of distinguishing what page you were on to offer up the right password.
- I think the generator would be great if it immediately prompted you to create a record when you generate the password.
- I wish there was an easy export of personal vault passwords, not shared.
- Saves minutes a day which adds up to several hours every month.
- Allows me to stay in my flow and not waste too much time going to get credentials when accessing multiple apps, or the same app with multiple users with different permissions.
- Allows me to quickly generate and catalog secure passwords.
- Allows easy sharing of passwords.
- Password Storage
- Password Creation
- Credential Sharing

- Auto-filling of website credentials
- The whole chrome extension is amazing
- Saving new credentials
- Sharing of credentials
- I wish there was an automatic prompt to add a site and credentials when you generate a password
- The ability to always have passwords at your fingertips on mobile devices or desktop
- Securely share login information and passwords with team members without actually sharing the info- share within the application or send links to those who need it
- Sync mobil devices and desktops with passwords
- Able to store critical information within the app and have for easy recall when needed such as legal documents, EIN, insurance policies, etc
- There is a delay when sharing passwords with others - there are times that you need to share quickly but there is a lag time so it does not always work as desired
- On mobile devices saving passwords is a bit more cumbersome than when on a desktop
- when searching within the app there are times that the item does not pull up even when it is displayed as displayed - so you have to just look through your vault to find the application
- The amount of time we save not having to find or remember passwords is a huge asset. Everything is all in one place
- the fact that you can sync to a mobile device allows you to have access to any site or password that you have stored in the app
- Creating secure passwords
- Securing sharing access with team members
- Maintaining secure list of passwords
- Keeping legal documents in the vault for secure access
LastPass? EVERYBODY should use this.
- Keeps multiple passwords and user IDs for both computer and mobile applications.
- Allows user to remember just one master password to access all accounts.
- Recommends secure, unique passwords so you don't have to try to come up with them and risk repeating / forgetting any.
- Increases security by allowing users to stop the habit of storing passwords locally, in unsecured media.
- At times it can overwrite your user name with another piece of data. For instance, if you have multiple sign in points on the same site or if you have an additional level of authentication - like a token key - it may overwrite a part of your credentials.
- Sometimes if you move the credentials into folders - for instance, Business, Banking, Personal - it may not pull up the credential the next time you access the website. It would seem that it matters where it is stored in LastPass when you save your data.
- It won't always auto-populate your credentials when accessing them from a website.
- They have a sharing feature - so you can provide passwords to other individuals. But we've have difficulty getting this to work.
- We are currently using a free version of the software - so no investment needed. But we are testing for enterprise roll out. From a security standpoint, we all really feel this is the way to go. No more generating easy to crack passwords and / or storing them in an unsecured way.
- Never having to retrieve and type passwords again has saved me hours a week. Not every user will have this same productivity gain but I would think those in Finance and IT will benefit greatly.
- I will provide feedback to our IT team that we should roll LastPass out to all users in our Corporate Office when asked. Currently, I've been beta testing.
- Greater password security.
- Ability to keep dozens of passwords with site references in one secure location.
- Auto-generating secure passwords to stop the practice of easy to guess codes.
- Efficiency for users who are often logged out of secure sites after a few minutes of idle time.
- LastPass functions as advertised, however, we are looking in to expanding the use of password sharing for administrative professionals who may need to log in to sites on behalf of the person they are supporting.
- For finance and IT professionals, we could enable LastPass as part of the suite of software preloaded on their computers. That way, our team members would be able to use this great tool right from the start and begin good data access habits.
Password management is the ONLY way to go!
- Automatically recommending new passwords and allowing you to tweak that recommendation for whatever the server decides it wants to ensure that it's permissible is amazingly simple.
- The cross-platform app plugins make it seamless to work on a PC, Android or iPhone device.
- The web application is great to show current vulnerable saved passwords and recommendations to improve your security through a simple wizard.
- Automated password changes are a great feature too.
- The generated passwords are total gibberish text (i.e. a mixture of letters, numbers, characters, etc.) which when managed by LastPass are fantastic. There are competitors that allow you to create long and technical passwords that are more readable for a human (strings of text with characters, etc.) that reportedly is better to do than random text.
- If you lock yourself out of your account, which one director did and had deleted the extension on his PC. It totally locked him out of his password vault and it was lost.
- There are different versions available, paid and free and its a little hard to fully appreciate what you are missing/gaining because the website doesn't totally make it clear.
- It has improved our security greatly, and with regular alerts from haveibeenpwnd.com for our domain showing users credentials are merrily spread across the internet, it's becoming essential that everyone moves away from traditional password solutions to better management.
- The mobility of the solution has also assisted in uptake by the key members of the office, so again, much easier to implement.
- The automated warnings when a hacked account is discovered is fantastic and helps remove a task from us to ensure that key personnel are updating their details regularly on external sites.
