Overall Satisfaction with Everstage
We use Everstage to automate commission calculation for 25+ Solution Consultants in our team on a quarterly basis. With this tool, we are able to provide clarity to the consultants in terms of how the commission was calculated, what deals and ARR value are under consideration, and accelerators if any that have been applied. This approach has allowed us to increase transparency amongst our team.
- User friendly UI - It is easy to navigate the platform and learn the details without any additional help.
- Ability to show the underlying formula that was used to calculate commissions.
- Provide visibility on how far the consultant is from achieving their quarterly quota.
- Automatically publish leader board for the team based on performance that drives the sense of friendly competition to succeed.
- We have additional SPIFFs that need to be paid to the reps which are flat dollar amounts. We are not able to incorporate the same in this tool and as of now have to handle it outside as Everstage tends to convert everything in a percentage payout model and this does not work for our SPIFF model.
- Everstage can have a guided tour for first time users. While the UI is very easy to understand a guided tour would make it much more simpler and would ensure that users uncover all the value associated with the tool.
- Build transparency amongst consultants and management in terms of commission calculations. Earlier when this was done using manual Excel sheets, many a times sharing the underlying details with the consultants was missed and they had to follow-up with the Revops team or the management.
- Faster reconciliation - With Manual sheets, reconciliation was done at the end of the quarter. With this tool, we are pushed to ensure that the data that is fed into the system is reviewed and approved every month, thereby ensuring a faster quarter end closure from commissions stand point.
- Generating leader board for friendly competition and President's club. Earlier, we struggled to keep this updated, but Everstage ensures that this is accessible and udpated every month based on the consultant performance.
