Overall Satisfaction with Klaviyo

Klaviyo is a great solution for our ecommerce business as it allows us to stay in contact with customers and build relationships with them. We are able to segment into specific or general lists and give personalised emails to our subscribers. We use it for both campaigns (one off emails) and flows which allow us to target people when they first sign up, remind them of their interest when they leave a cart abandoned or anything else we can think of!
  • Provides benchmarks to compare yourself to similar brands and your industry as a whole
  • Customisable forms which allow for very brand-specific designs
  • Support and help team very responsive
  • The image quality you are able to upload can be a bit low, would love crisper GIFs and images to be allowed to upload
  • Easier way to clean up and clear out inactive users
  • Two way data sync between Klaviyo and Shopify (tags and such) as I believe it is a one way system as of now
  • Klaviyo has helped us retain and have repeat purchases
  • Data from users has been really valuable
  • Higher customer satisfaction with our communicaiton
We are beginning to use SMS and have used email for a few years, together they provide us the opportunity to contact people the way they want to be contacted and give them special offers which makes them feel important and looked after by our brand.
Klaviyo works with most apps to integrate smoothly and offers support when you do need an extra help
We are able to segment really well and contact people based on their frequency of purchase, their engagement with our brand etc. You can treat the most engaged ones as your VIP users and send to them more often, whereas people who are less engaged can be contacted less so as not to annoy and therefore lose them. Especially helpful to see who is mainly engaged for holiday seasons or big sales you might run.
Klaviyo helps with all aspects of the journey from start to finish. We are able to give overview info to new users, as they are just considering. Then once they have made a purchase we can retain them with information on that product or recommend other products to go along with it.
Personally I haven't used competitors but would not consider switching to another.

Klaviyo is really built for converting so if you are sending informational content either to your subscribers or internal comms, it is better to look elsewhere. If you send an email of this kind, people will not click and purchase and it will bring down your overall analytics to seem like your click-through, purchase values, etc. rates are low. Klaviyo is great however at flows and getting people engaged when they first subscribe or take certain actions (browse abandonment, cart abandonment, welcome series, etc.)
