Adroit eHospital Systems vs. Altera Paragon

There is no where eHospital Systems is less appropriate.

10 years ago the product was a good product, owned by McKesson and built on newer code. Over the years it has failed to keep up with the rapidly changing healthcare changes and struggled to fix those problems it created with new code. We had to recently move to Epic as a Community Connect client to keep up with all the changes as Paragon couldn't.

• currently there is no way to access prior patient records or testing since it is all stored on a cloud server.

• Fix key software issues
• Off shore support
• Keeping the product up to Healthcare standards

I give them this rating because they have exceeded my expectation from the very beginning and I just really love the EHR!

while using ModMed we usually loose internet connectivity, and there is no way to access our records

We have recently moved to Epic as our EMR. Paragon isn't as user-friendly nor does it keep up with HealthCare standards. Paragon upgrades were very long and caused downtime, while Epic upgrades are a lot faster.

• Yes, we have easy access to customer detail and information though the help of eHopsital system which help us to minimize the use of staff and money spent and also save time

• ROI in the beginning, but as time passed we risked losing a lot
• Support costs are low compared to others, but you pay for what you get
• Couldn't continue to use it
