Amazon AWS
Well Suited
  1. B2C mobile and web apps with a high number of users.
  2. Cheaper and cost-effective.
  3. If the other pieces of the infra are already using AWS services like Lambda, S3, Pinpoint, etc.
Not Suited For:
  1. Advanced use-cases (Biometrics based authentication) Email, and other MFA channels.
  2. For any use-cases needing SCIM.
  3. Customized flows of SSO, and MFA will need a layer on Lambda and other AWS services.

We have a few older apps as well, still, integration was a breeze. Excellent documentation, well maintained. Support is well managed and fast. We have been using one all for one year now. And only needed support ones. It has the most useful tools I have worked with like commenting notes, identity federation, sing on single/social, user management they all have made my work so easy to do. I can hardly find any scenario not appropriate that I could mention. I find this mostly top-notch.

Cons
Amazon AWS
  • Amazon Cognito has a bit of a learning curve. You need to learn its concepts and terminology. The documentation does not describe some topics comprehensively.
  • Some Console screens would benefit from improved search and filtering options.
  • When another AWS product (e.g., SageMaker) configures Cognito on your behalf, it is not clear what you're getting. For example, the expiration of a temporary password was configured but never communicated.

  • The one thing I would like t see is the ability to add or request other networks to be added.
  • Being able to utilize those as well as would be great, Very few systems utilize niche networks logins, so its an era that is for someone to explore and gain new tops
  • It meets my all needs so i can say that its a must try software for use.

Support Rating
Amazon AWS
AWS Support overall is poor. Your main resources are trainings and the docs, and the docs can be very confusing. Using Cognito well involves having a developer learn it deeply and help support your team in understanding it. That said, Cognito's competitors also have dismal support and even worse documentation, so while this isn't a strength for Cognito it may still be the frontrunner here.

  • I can say that it always has been a great experience with one all while working it allows me to sign in social multiple websites at a time I do not have to remember the login details all the time
  • One of the best qualities I find in this is that it is so easy to go through all the tools and anyone can easily use this it does not require a very high level of computation knowledge I myself not a very high level in this but in my business, it has modified my work again and again.
  • value for money, Acutally its worth it
