Aurea Process vs. Precisely Automate

The tool has potential. Its capabilities and visual aspects could be considered rather basic but this might improve, particularly if the business intelligence/analytics aspect is leveraged. Once running well, it could allow (perhaps smaller) companies to successfully improve their customers' experiences through digitalizing customer journey - and we all know that customer loyalty goes a long way. However, whether or not the tool is comprehensive enough to deliver this for larger companies with more complex, multi- and omni-channel interactions is yet to be seen...

It's more appropriate for inserting, updating, and deleting/deactivating data in bulk from Excel files, and for executing individual transactions in SAP systems in desktop environments, but not so much for executing chains of transactions, à la RPA, or in SAP systems with a web interface. Not Fiori. At least that's our experience with SAP in the desktop interface

• Update large quantities of data from Excel files.
• Automate the execution of SAP transactions.
• Clean data in SAP systems from Excel files.

• Standard edition is significantly lighter touch than the (pricier) Enterprise version
• There are similar solutions on the market that are competitively prices and offer positive user experience
• Data migration can be tricky at times

• Improve the support from regional partners.
• Make work the identity federation, and the support to make it work.
• Make the integration with the Precisely admin portal.

It is very easy to use and learn. I have onboarded many users in the team with very short trainings. Overall feed back is good. Just the issue is with UI change done post becoming "Precisely". Otherwise easy and handy tool and must have for mass data automation and maintenance.

Have not evaluated any other yet.

• As our customers vary in size and maturity, the ROI ranges accordingly.
• For younger, smaller businesses this is a useful tool. Digitalization of he customer journey has certainly helped save time and efforts in many cases.
• For more mature market players the tool is not always comprehensive enough. Dashboard and report personalization take time and efforts, and sometimes it feels that a dedicated BI tool would be a more suitable solution.

• Positive impact in keeping the team small in charge of keeping data in order.
• Positive impact in the time used for massively updating data the system.
• Negative impact on the time that take get direct support with a partner.
