ConstructConnect retains the iSqFt brand after merging the company; the platform is ConstructConnect's bidding and digital take off platform focused on helping construction contractors and companies locate bids and earn jobs.
I like the look of BuildingConnected the best between the 3 of these products. iSqFt to me has an outdated look and isn't super easy to navigate like BuildingConnected. I like the the visual look of BuildingConnected its very easy on the eyes and draws your eye to where you …
I'd say that BuildingConnected is by far the best software I've used in the industry. It's much more aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly, and just a better overall product than Procore, iSqFt, & SmartBid. Those sites all seem to be lacking in at least one of those categories …
BuildingConnected is one of my favorite bid management softwares because of its ease of use and simple interface. At a quick glance you can easily see where your project is, who is planning on bidding, and what values submitted bids equal out to. BuildingConnected makes it …
I have used various products to do my job and by far BuildingConnected is the best. I wish all construction companies used this program. They are easy to use and does most of the work for me. I like the way they call or text me and ask for my opinion on their product and if …
Some of these other products are feature-rich but lack user-friendly features. BuildingConnected, what it lacks in some deeper features, it makes up for in Customer Service and User Friendliness.
iSqFt is a solid competitor in the bidding/estimating platform world but as a user, Building Connected is the front runner. iSqFt lacks on the collaboration side and isn't as easy to use and access as its competitors. Building Connected is used by most of our clients so it's …
I'd say that iSqFt is a leader in the industry when compared to its competitors. It has all of the same capabilities and is perfect for any size project. I still use other software, but iSqFt is my usual go-to. I would recommend it to anyone in the construction industry.
When receiving RFQ's from companies within a manageable distant from our location, it has been very helpfull. Receiving RFQ's for projects outside of our work area, it is just a waste of time. The projects available are well organized and give date due of proposal.
iSqFt is a solid bidding platform that allows for document sharing and communication management between general contractors and subcontractors. The platform is not as intuitive and easy to use as other bidding platforms I have used such as Building Connected, but it gets the job done. Our clients drive which platform they use so we don't have control of which platform they use.
There was a previous glitch where bid forms have been updated by subcontractors that have accessed a former version are not able to access the updated/new bid form.
I would like to see the ability for BuildingConnected to automatically send a bid reminder to bidders at a set amount of time prior to the bid date.
Though I haven't had to utilize any live support at BuildingConnected, I know others at my company have and have had good success with them. They seem to be very responsive and since the software is so simple, there are not that many pitfalls or hurdles that you need to work through to accomplish your task.
I have never had a problem with support from the iSqFt team. They are continually reaching out with tips and tricks to make using their software easier. Anytime I've had a problem - which is seldom - they have been extremely prompt with their response on how to fix it.
Have used BlueBook Construction, which has a smooth, quick search for local contractors. Still, they don't allow us the client project creation. I even had issues with them displaying proper project descriptions based upon was receiving inadequate and or erroneous bid proposals, and the engagement manager was not flexible in resolving the problem!
I have been invited to view projects on other platforms such as Procore and have been required to enter a login for certain jobs. However, I can't find any where to register for the site. This may be something I've overlooked but the fact that I can't find it right away made me prefer iSqFt.
