It's well suited for any Windows environment. It doesn't slow the PC down and it's very effective at what it does.

I think Tripwire IP360 is suited for any environment as long as the leadership is willing to support the outcome.

• I find the Tripwire IP360 reporting features extraordinary. I can run various audit and inventory reports at any point since the inception of the tool. For example, I can execute a report on the history of an asset, which establishes a baseline and can be used to support many security objectives.
• Scan scheduling. This feature allows the tool to run independently without human intervention. I don’t have time to manually run scans of different departments. Therefore, I schedule all my audits and check the report the next day. This has worked brilliantly for 3 years now.
• Automated update of the vulnerability rules. Automatically updating these rules and binding them to the scans preserves the tool relevancy during audits

• I’d like to see IP360 have the ability to discover additional security appliances such as PaloAlto and Fortinet appliances.

It does everything that I need it to do in terms of generating income and protecting against viruses and phishing.

The support at Avast CloudCare is excellent; the guys are professional and know their product very well. They have helped us (in the latter years of us using the product), on multiple occasions, especially when an upgrade goes wrong. Community support is not as high, but that is to be expected, as other products are much more popular and have much better adoption. All in all, although being an average Antivirus solution, the management console is excellent, and the support the company offers is excellent too.

Avast CloudCare is less of a memory hog than several other vendors like Norton or Trend. The ease of deployment for 1 or 100 computers is so simple and straightforward.

• Positive: we have our customers supported better than ever
• Negative: But not really, we have lost billable time due to our customers having [fewer] virus infections than ever before.
• We had one incident where we had to credit a customer because the backup failed and did not report correctly and the customer lost some data.

• The biggest impact Tripwire has had in the organization is risk reduction. Since the inception of the tool our vulnerabilities have been reduced by 40%.
