AvePoint Confidence Platform vs. Netskope SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM)

AvePoint's Confidence Platform is very well suited for all businesses, specifically those on a budget, who are looking to secure, harden, and manage their Microsoft 365 environment. Their stack includes products to migrate data, back up data, secure and maintain data, apply custom policies around data management, and get valuable insights into how your data is being used. I cannot think of a scenario where their products would not be well suited for a company, because data management is critical.

SSPM is ideal for scenarios in a work environment where you don't have a lot of resources or money to analyse your environments. This allows you to see how many devices are affected by the insecure rule and gives you instant feedback once the rule has been remediated and resolved.

• Reporting on your environment compared to NIST/GDPR guidelines etc
• Wide range of integrations such as Box, Zoom and Microsoft packages
• Extremely easy to setup and configure as long as you are a global admin.

• It can be a bit tricky to set up the repositories initially.

Overall, I think AvePoint's Confidence Platform, and specifically, their backup solution and data migration solution, are very user friendly, even for a novice. Their knowledge base for the products is extensive, and provides detailed instructions for almost everything you will be doing within their platform. They also have a very knowledgeable support staff, and their products are tailored to make your company more secure.

AvePoint Cloud Backup for Office 365 stacks up against Datto Backupify well. Although I feel that Datto's Backupify was a bit easier to configure and setup, and process backups. Probably because I have experience with it, but overall I do feel that it is easier to use than AvePoint.

Cisco Umbrella doesn't have the functions to match this so it was night and day difference. Cisco Umbrella was very limited in its offerings and especially its support.
