CaliberLIMS is well suited for scenarios like overall QC data management like recording of results and review and approval of the same in LIMS. It will help to take decision of further batch processing to verify the result of previous step that whether it complies or not. verification of QC result in LIMS also help to decide release of batch. There shall be integration for SAP and LIMS would be help to eliminate manual entries in SAP

- Patient portal allows us to send results directly to the patient, which is a must-have for laboratories going forward.
- Support is very responsive and helpful. You will always hear back from them in a timely fashion, often with a solution in hand.
- Very configurable. The system is well-designed, and most changes that need to be made can be done by the end-user.
- Product lifecycle is quick. We can request a complex feature update and have it be turned around in a matter of weeks.

Not really a fair comparison, as one is an extremely old, modules-based system that is installed onsite, whereas the other is a modern, cloud-based solution that provides the entire gamut of functionalities in-house. The support structure is also different in that the support for portals is separated out from the main support for the software. That was not a great experience
