CBT Nuggets vs. Wisetail LMS

CBT Nuggets is well suited for people who need
to learn in nuggets/small packets, business professionals on the run, and those
who need modular content for a wide range of topics. This is also suitable for
people/employees looking for upskilling, certification exams, or business growth.
It is also suited to large organizations that want to upskill their workforce.
This might not be suited for people looking for supplementary content, or people
attending regular in-class educational/training, sessions as this provides
comprehensive content rather than supplementary content. Also not suited for those who are looking for written materials for training like
books, notes, ppt, etc.

Even their newest 5.0 upgrade only puts their technology capabilities at the back of the pack compared to other major LMS' in the marketplace. That said, their customer service team is very good, and they have a good company culture. If you are a very small company that wants a decent LMS, this is a good product to look at.

• It's on-demand. You can take zero or 100 courses for the same price and at your own convenience.
• Courses are organized extremely well and instructors are great.
• You can cover a wide range of training topics - Microsoft, Networking, database, ETC.
• You can go back and re-watch videos to get a better understanding.

• While the trainers are good, sometimes their accent make them hard to understand.
• More practice questions at the end that simulate the certification test.
• Perhaps a score card that with those questions that tell you where to spend more time training.

Last. Dead last. We selected Wisetail years ago when it was cutting edge. It's had very little development since then, and has sadly fallen to the back of the pack. It's unfortunate, since they have such a great staff. Promises to fix this have repeatedly been made and broken. There is a large client exodus from this platform taking place.

• This tool helped many people to clear their certification exams by providing in-depth training.
• Helped employees achieve their personal learning goals.
• CNT Nuggets also has a positive impact on upskilling employees/interns for better productivity.

• We've been able to eliminate costly live events in lieu of live webcasts. The recordings of those are hosted on our Wisetail platform.
• The 4.0 platform has a significant administrative burden that is only partially fixed in 5.0.
