Certent Equity Management vs. Truework

Certent Equity Management is well suited in the following ways: 1. [The] software provides seamless integration to internal software. 2. [It provides] detailed reports of market equity management. 3. [The] software prepares financial equity footnotes for 10k reporting very well. 4. It helps with award modification [as] needed. 5. I enjoy doing capitalization tables.

Truework may not be ideal for companies with a large quantity of complex earning codes, as the code mapping can get messy. We've found some difficulty with finding a solution for international companies we have acquired. Otherwise, Truework has suited us very well, and sends us emails to complete verifications for someone they can't find in the records we've sent over. We utilize a good number of contractors and we've decided not to send that information to Truework, so we always need to do those manually when Truework lets us know the associate in question can't be found.

• Expense calculations – the whole accounting for equity awards is pretty technical and not real easy to follow. It does a good job of calculating GAAP expense for each award.

• The staff is very knowledgeable and competent. We shared our data and they were able to convert the information as per they requirements.
• We spent very little time in integrating with them.
• We were able to integrate using the available resources and did not need to create complex reports.

• Customer Support management could be improved.
• Video advisory or consultation could be added as a feature.

I personally like the Equity Edge software better. The reporting is better and the software easier to use. The reason we didn’t continue to work with them is we didn’t want to use E-Trade as captive broker.

Pretty easy to go through and learn on your own.

I can only remember a couple of times when cannot access the system.

We do not access support directly. We go through Plan Mosaic.

Truework has been recognized by Forbes as a fastest growing company. They are willing to expand their business and build new relationships. During negotiation they gave us a good deal, which shows that they are willing to let the customer evaluate their services over time. The team is also very prompt in responding to questions and proactive in initiating questions for clarification.

We had a 2 hour introduction to the software over a Webex meeting by Plan Mosaic, and a user guide. Plan Mosaic is a reseller.

A lot of decisions had been made already when I joined. I thought it was a fairly smooth process. You just need to make sure that you do a good job of auditing all the awards that are transferred from system to system. We did a reverse stock split that caused challenges with rounding of shares.

As an organization, we have evaluated various Equity management and accounting software before shortlisting and testing these software and finally selecting 1 software. It has a user-friendly interface that helps and encourages employee participation. Moreover, it has simple and easy-to-understand grants and reporting, which are illustrated by easy-to-understand examples.

As an organisation, we have evaluated many HRMS software before shortlisting this one. It has an original data source for millions of workers and helps in easy verification. It is the second-largest network for income and employment verification. Moreover, it has simple and easy-to-understand scenarios which are illustrated by easy-to-understand examples.

• It helps with taxation compliance, which could be a major issue.
• [The] uploaded template helps with large amounts of data [that needs] uploading in grants and helps keep a lean team in management and operations.
• [The] availability of different types of reports makes transactional activity easy.
• Accounting, reporting, and disclosures become easy.

• We are saving approx. 8-10 hours a week that we can focus on other business needs and priorities.
• In the approx. 21 months we've been using Truework our associates have self-generated almost 500 letters.
• In the same amount of time, Truework has completed almost 1,700 verifications saving us approx. 732 hours.
