ChartLogic EMR vs. SimplePractice

ChartLogic is great for a practice that wants an EMR but doesn't want/need all the bells and whistles of a giant like Epic. It allows each individual doctor to create their own templates, smart fields and ways of seeing their messages, encounters etc so that while you have one EMR system each doctor can make it their own. Little to no computer experience or training needed to make things work easily.

I think it's a good choice for solo providers who bill insurance. If you have employees or are self-pay, go elsewhere, in my opinion

• Intake paperwork formatting
• Calendar interface and ease of use
• Automated features such as appointment reminders

• Seems to usually be one extra unneeded "ok" button you have to click to make things save
• Wish it had more reporting options

I have not had to contact support which is nice. If I have a question, I am typically able to find the answer within the help section.

Haven't used many others but out of the ones I have used, it's the best and I definitely recommend it.

Also Kalix, Practice Better, Practice Q (formerly Intake Q), Healthie, Jane, etc. I'm hoping to switch to Practice Q soon.
