Class for Zoom vs. IBM Cloud Functions

I feel like there is no major drawbacks of Class for Zoom app. However some of the area it has outshines well where some of its performance needs more enhancement. It is best to use for Corporate Training, higher education or certification program, skills development workshop. However its less suitable for promotional meeting where large number of participants are present. It is not suggested for old systems since lagging issue is there. Self paced learning its not suitable.

IBM Cloud Functions [is] not the worse product on the IBM cloud. I decided to write this review as I thought it would be balanced. I would still use functions to set up a serverless architecture where execution time is pretty quick and the code is relatively simple. I wouldn't use IBM Cloud Functions for async calls obviously, as costs could be higher. The functions documentation is lacking in terms of CI/CD, and there are unexplainable errors occurring - like the network connection that I mentioned. So I wouldn't just rely on IBM Cloud Functions too much for the entire system, but make sure it's diversified.

• screen sharing is the best feature.
• It is used for knowledge based communication, conferences and webinars.
• very easy process

• Great substitute for a simple API calls to run non-complicated code.
• Easy way to run Python/Java/Javascript to get something done.
• File validation.

• The virtual background feature doesn't work that great on windows devices even after having a sound graphics card and other required hardware
• Its mobile apps lack many features which are available in computer versions

• Billing can be a hassle, not the most responsive customer service/support team
• Handles & executes most functionalities, but other platforms offer more scalability if you're seeking consistent and stable growth

I give this rating since I find it productive since I am using it. It gives a all new experience for training and development of professionals. Many features available which can help us analyze the learner performance. It has a bit learning curve for a new bee. however it is overall good for short to medium size organization to enhance their team learning skills.

Class for Zoom was a very clear improvement over just plain Zoom. The additional features make for a much richer experience overall. One main reason Class for Zoom stood out over other similar products is how seamlessly everything was integrated together. This is very important as the more clunky it feels the less engaging the meeting will feel and Class for Zoom did a great job at not feeling clunky.

• ICF is a lightweight service and does not require runtime configurations
• Scalable on demand and hence there is no need to pay for runtime costs

• It directly affected our expenses since we do not need to deploy and maintain a set of separate applications.
• It allowed us to pay for only the amount of time cloud functions run.
• It saved on maintenance and monitoring of the applications it replaced.
