Overall Satisfaction with Class for Zoom

Since I am working as a data analyst, due to market demand we need to upskill ourselves. So a virtual learning platform is very crucial for us. We use this platform as a collaboration and virtual learning platform. The product address business problems like excellent engagement in virtual learning, efficient training management, broader insights to learner platform, helps with consistency of training.
use case includes departmental learning, user frequency of sessions organized.
Overall our productivity has increased due to Class for Zoom software.

Pros

  • Excellent Built-in Teaching and Training Tools
  • Enhanced Classroom Management features which helps to see all participants engagement levels.
  • It offers Structured Learning Flow which helps to avoid the logistical issues during classes.
  • Integrated LMS helps to access recordings, class materials, and notes in one place.

Cons

  • video sometimes freeze or disappear.
  • to learn most of the features high learning curve.
  • customization of user interface is limited.
  • By using this training efficiency has increased.
  • We have engaged more participants since we using it.
  • however negative impact on high number of participants.
  • cost of use is a bit higher side.
I give this rating since I find it productive since I am using it. It gives a all new experience for training and development of professionals. Many features available which can help us analyze the learner performance. It has a bit learning curve for a new bee. however it is overall good for short to medium size organization to enhance their team learning skills.
I prefer Class for Zoom for some of the reasons where Google Meet or Microsoft Teams does not meet the requirements. It is best for instructor-led training sessions where you need to look for attendance, engagement and analytics. It Helps to enhance classroom-feel like more than general meeting tools since it features instructor podium, front-of-room, breakout templates, proctor views.

I feel like there is no major drawbacks of Class for Zoom app. However some of the area it has outshines well where some of its performance needs more enhancement. It is best to use for Corporate Training, higher education or certification program, skills development workshop. However its less suitable for promotional meeting where large number of participants are present. It is not suggested for old systems since lagging issue is there. Self paced learning its not suitable.
