CoffeeCup HTML Editor vs. Xmind

My typical use is to edit HTML and CFM pages from prior projects, and use them to create new ones. So, I rarely use the tools for designing pages provided in this application. I have found the ability to preview a page very useful. I am aware of numerous features in this editor, that simpler editors would not provide. It has proven to be a great fit for my use.

Definitely well suited to generate our total client profiles clearly presenting and displaying insights into particular clients.

• Helpful analysis of code, and useful suggestions for corrections
• Very useful split-screen preview of HTML code
• Wizards to guide inserting tables, links, images, audio etc.

• Maybe I could list a con if my use of it was more diverse and consistent. It does everything and more for my purposes, and in ways I Iike very much.

• A few steps are needed to mark a label for each customized branch.
• Branch customization, such as line width and style, could be improved.
• Customization, such as a different shape of nodes, would be good.

Commands and controls extremely easy to navigate and use. Ability to import mindmaps and collaborate also contribute to a very pleasant usability experience

The support around a bug in the tool which prevented the correct printing of diagrams. Support came back after a few days, and there was no workaround. Eventually, the bug was fixed in a future release. The company does not pay much attention to user forums. With better support and plugin mechanism for user contributions, the product would be more convincing.

This is the first tool of its kind that I have used, however it's simple UI and low learning curve make it very beginner friendly
