Both pro and con - no setup needed for CompAnalyst, but it also doesn't contain all my own comp data; have to build external reporting to be able to connect the two.
It is a great tool to have if I need to make my business case for why we did or did not adjust a certain pay scale based on comprehensive data from CA. I can present a very strong case with real data to approve or reject a request for an adjustment or offer that is above or below our pay scale
This software is ideal for managing large amounts of external, salary survey data - as well as if you want to combine it into reports, presentations with internal compensation data. The reporting capabilities are superior to any other reporting tool I've used from a compensation perspective. I really enjoy using this software.
As a database of information, Mercer WIN | ePrism is an exceptionally easy tool to use, even for beginners.
The functionality is endless, there are so many ways of manipulating and cutting the data stored in the system. It makes it a one-stop shop for all your compensation-related reporting needs.
Being able to create and manage benchmark positions, you always have easy-to-access baseline data. Additionally, the visuals are clean and easy to read, easy to prepare and come together with just a couple clicks.
I would like to see additional customization options in the software's application widgets.
Some competitors offer the ability for customers to see real-time pay data from their customer base. This is a feature I would like to see in CompAnalyst.
Some user interfaces in the software still need to be updated, but the team is doing an excellent job rolling out new features and updating the tool.
For new users, the tool can be overwhelming. However, once you are proficient, the tool is intuitive and very easy to use. Perhaps online tutorials or more guidance would be helpful.
I gave CompAnalyst this usability rating because, in my experience, CompAnalyst has lots of information that can be analyzed by all factions of compaies
Our Professional Services Consultant and Customer Success Manager are always available to answer our questions. If I have a compensation-related question, they will find the answer for us. They take our product feedback seriously, and the team has implemented a few of our requested features in the system. Their Vice President of Product Management is always open to receiving feedback, and CompAnalyst is always reaching out to customers to demo and test new product offerings.
