Connecteam vs. PurelyHR

Connecteam is great for distributed teams; the messaging feature is good for DMs and group messaging. Sending updates to relevant staff groups is very easy with Connecteam. Furthermore, having required acknowledgements on updates is paramount for compliance and ensuring all employees have received and understood new information that was sent to the team

PurelyHR helps to manage our timeclock with 19 locations that are spread over Middle TN/KY. Supervisors can approve request for time off, view a consolidated calendar showing all PTO scheduled. There are settings to block too many request in one day per our own guidelines. Time punches can easily be approved by the employee and then by a supervisor. PurelyHR helps make the timesheet process easy to manage and get reports for processing payroll in a timely manner

• Daily team productivity with time clock feature
• Easy of running weekly payroll reports
• Employees to manage and own their time before being approved for payroll
• Easy to add absences and PTO
• Free until you need more than 10 users
• It is great that you can tell where your employees are logging in from ie the office, home or in the field

• Timesheet reports available through PurelyHR are exactly what we need
• PurelyHR makes PTO request and approvals easier to manage

• Adding the ability for employee to be able to set up their own reminders would be beneficial for those that seem to forget to clock in or out

Connecteam is far more robust in terms of features. The pricing is better too

We have used Paychex Flex and found that PurelyHR provides a better fit for our team. It was important for our company to find an easy to manage PTO request and tracking system and a time keeping system with certain reports. We also like that PurelyHR has a feature where documents can be uploaded for employee review and sign off.

• Before Connecteam I hated "Payroll Mondays" because it took a few hours to do everyone's time and upload it for the accountant. Now it takes maybe 15 mintues to do the entire process. I feel like it is more accurate and definitely less time-consuming - saving me money in the long run.
• Connecteam has also allowed for quick glance time management to reduce overtime. Having accurate info allowing us to redeploy team members as needed and get other off the clock sooner. Or if we are having OT it is not a surprise - we can plan for it
• Our accountant has love the reporting and has even recommended it to other small business because it provides all the info needed.

• PurelyHR has saved our employees and supervisors valuable time (an average of an hour each pay period per employee to manager their time keeping and approval) from the old way of using manual timesheets along with emailing or faxing copies.
• PurelyHR has solved our PTO tracking needs, offering an easy to use request and approval system
• The PTO calendar shows all employees' schedule PTO on one calendar, this is a time saver for Operations Managers
