Overall Satisfaction with Connecteam
We use Connecteam as our daily time clock management to run our payroll. Our team members are able to clock in and out. We can agragage time based on categories we have selected like office, customer or field travel. This helped us to determine cost for jobs as well as how much travel was consuming our technician time. We also use it to house individual employees' certifications that are job-specific to them. From time to time we need to communicate and track that the information was read and we do that with this application as well.
- Daily team productivity with time clock feature
- Easy of running weekly payroll reports
- Employees to manage and own their time before being approved for payroll
- Easy to add absences and PTO
- Free until you need more than 10 users
- It is great that you can tell where your employees are logging in from ie the office, home or in the field
- Adding the ability for employee to be able to set up their own reminders would be beneficial for those that seem to forget to clock in or out
- Time caputure - clock in clock out
- Cloud-based so payroll reporting can be done even when you are not physically present (huge plus for small shops)
- Archived record of time for employees
- Before Connecteam I hated "Payroll Mondays" because it took a few hours to do everyone's time and upload it for the accountant. Now it takes maybe 15 mintues to do the entire process. I feel like it is more accurate and definitely less time-consuming - saving me money in the long run.
- Connecteam has also allowed for quick glance time management to reduce overtime. Having accurate info allowing us to redeploy team members as needed and get other off the clock sooner. Or if we are having OT it is not a surprise - we can plan for it
- Our accountant has love the reporting and has even recommended it to other small business because it provides all the info needed.

- Process time for payroll
- Daily capture of time

- Loading templates so that we don't have to recreate or remember where onboarding paperwork is kept
- We will be adding mandatory training videos this year to track team education and completion
Evaluating Connecteam and Competitors
- Cloud Solutions
- Ease of Use
It had to be easy for staff to use. We did a 2 week trial and they loved it and we say the immediate benefit and stayed with it.
Connecteam Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Change management was minimal - We sent it out as a text message and started using the next day. IT literally was that easy for end users. It took a bit of trial and error on the admin side to get it all reporting as desired but it was EASY - just do it!
