ConvertPlug vs. Framer

Very well suited for ANY serious website operator - be it services, info-products or e-commerce. It's not just list marketing but pop-ups. Basis our usage experience, we never found any restrictive-case use situations

Framer is a very versatile way to design and develop websites. It is very user friendly and it keeps improving. It also has very generous CMS plans for small businesses.

• Integrates well with Wordpress, Studiopress (genesis) and all major email marketing software
• Impressive variety of pop-ups and ability to customize those
• "light loading" (less page load time) and mobile friendly for sure
• Impressive "pop-up behaviour" customization ....right from "When and where on website" to "Which specific country" and much more
• Adaptable to subscription or e-commerce website architecture as well

• Look and feel of templates could use greater westernization. Colors tend to be more oriental/Bright oriented - However color pallets can be changed easily
• Covert Plus: PLEASE also bring in a content locker!

• The main issue with Framer is bandwidth.
• A lot of clients are suffering from the bandwidth, and they need to give more space for this.
• Customer suffers from bandwidth increasing because of the bandwidth they need to pay double

Framer is easy to learn as all of our team members are familiar with Figma and Framer has almost same user interface. Pre built animation and templates saves a lot of time, publishing workflows is easy. I rated 8/10 because mastering advanced interaction may take some time and managing larger projects can be improved.

The above and various other plugins/software were either not compatible with some of our software OR were too expensive (often with recurring costs vs. one-time) OR offered too many add-on features that weren't needed. It took us nearly 40 expensive man-hours to test and narrow down on this particular plugin that met all requirements in a go

Framer is a good balance between complexity and price. Wix and Tilda look good for even simpler projects, while Framer offers more sophisticated options. But at a certain point of complexity, as I already mentioned - number of pages, complicated automations- I would move to Webflow. However, if the project is simple enough, no need to be overloaded with a complex platform, and Framer works just well enough.
