Overall Satisfaction with Framer

We use Framer to make websites for our B2B tech clients. From design prototyping to hosting them, Framer is a one-stop solution for everything websites. It somehow allows full design freedom without any code. Our clients appreciate it because Framer makes it easy to manage and update their websites without involving their devs.

Pros

  • Gets pricey with more advanced CMS use-cases
  • Font and style customization can be richer
  • SEO handling for blogs is limiting

Framer is a pretty capable design tool, given it's completely no-code. It's intuitive to use after the initial learning curve.
We primarily used Figma for design prototyping and Webflow for turning them into live websites. Framer does it all in the same place without sacrificing design freedom and quality. It's our go-to tool unless clients want something else.

Framer is a great tool for launching quick and beautiful websites. The Figma-like design and Webflow-like production capabilities make it complete tool for this purpose. While it works alright for lightweight CMS content, it's less suited for large, content-heavy websites and blogs that strictly rely on SEO.
