Cookiebot by Usercentrics vs. seoClarity

Any situation where a business needs to implement user-level control and consent over cookies from a website or web app is a suitable place to implement Cookiebot. It has a great deal of flexibility in how you trigger/kill cookies, and in how the user can activate or view features like re-visiting the consent popup at a later date or viewing the cookie declaration. They've really made Cookiebot into a component for your existing website rather than a standalone app.

seoClarity is great for keyword reporting, ranking tracking, and competitor keyword research. One thing I particularly like is there are no limits on exports because I tend to do a lot of my keyword research processes in Google Sheets; I like to have the ability to export large datasets from the tools I'm using. Unlike Ahrefs and SEMRush, there aren't silly low limits on these exports in seoClarity.

• The organization of the environments where Cookiebot is being used requires a slight learning curve and some getting used to.
• Viewing user's cookie preferences is a little cumbersome.

Compared to other tools, including Semrush and Ahrefs, the overall capability and scope of reporting within seoClarity is right up there. However, a dated user interface and some laggy experience when hovering over charts slightly let down the tool. Other than these tiny items, this tool beats the competition quite easily.

In comparing the offering from our hosting company against Cookiebot, Cookiebot was the winner hands down. Easy to set up, use and monitor it met all of the criteria we had used in our search and at a reasonable price.

All solutions in this category tend to be more similar than different. Competitors tend to be larger organizations, have a bit more polish to the interface but also are a bit more obtuse when it comes to pricing.
