Creativity 365 vs. Socialtext (discontinued) vs. TIBCO Tibbr

I think in a world where I have to churn out videos and other content for my business, I think that Creativity 365 really allows us in the office to be on the same page when it comes to getting stuff done. These days, especially with a lot of remote work, a collaborative effort can still feel like an individual one, but the coolest thing is that this software makes it feel less and less like that.

We use Social Text as a platform to air our issues with different departments. We voice our concerns and suggestions so we can help find a solution to the problems we incur on a daily basis. We need to have social text as an app so we can communicate in real time not only during work hours.

I think it is well-suited for populations who value social media and being connected in this manner at work. If the population does not value this type of open interaction, it will be underutilized. Many of our baby-boomer generation staff have a hard time seeing the relevancy of a site such as this.

• I think it helps people crowd source an organization for information and resources that may not be easily found.
• The subjects feature is a great place to develop communities of practice where links, files and communication can be shared.
• As long as the search engine is optimized / working effectively, it can be a powerful way to access sites and resources across the organization.

• Since it's a content creation toolset, it would be great if there was a photo editing tool.

• Search needs a ton of improvements. It was very slow a year ago
• Search result quality was also not that good
• I know they have improved their UI recently but when i used it last year it did not really have any design elements which could be used to make the articles look more presentable. It was important for us as we used it for external communication as well.

• The profile finder is glitchy and rarely comes up with solid results.
• The site sometimes has glitches, such as subject pages not loading and complete content not appearing on the screen until you refresh or give it an abnormal amount of time to load.
• The "USAID Search" option should appear first for the search results. It is not intuitive that it is the last search option to select. Often users don't even clearly recognize that they need to select types of search results.

We have a lot of info in Socialtext already. It would be hard to get all that info out and port it to a different system

I contacted customer service once and got my problem solved very quickly.

Airtable has a free version that offers basic functionalities that Creativity 365 does not offer. Airtable integrates with 25 different applications and software to make collaboration easier, while Creativity 365 only integrates with 13. Even though key features of Creativity 365 and Airtable should matter you should also carefully explore the integrations provided by each product. Very often you will already be making use of various kinds of SaaS software in your company and it’s much more beneficial to choose software that integrates well with each other. If you do that you will be able to guarantee an effortless transfer of data between your teams and software used, which can significantly reduce the time spent on migrating between one solution and the next.

I frankly like Confluence better than socialtext because of the speed and the quality of search. They also have better design elements which can help make the articles pleasant to the eyes.
