Dalet Flex vs. PlayPlay

Ooyala provides the opportunity to scale and manage multiple services and platforms in the organization with its integration services with internal tools like Slack and multiple other applications. Also, it helps you understand the views, reach, and engagement with the videos that help you define your next campaign strategy. In my experience, Ooyala could be less appropriate for managing URLs and unreliability may make you upload videos more than once.

For any company that wants to use more video in their content and marketing overall, PlayPlay is your best bet. Anyone can make a video--no expertise required. Honestly, it's really fun to do, and you feel like a creative genius afterward! If you are making long-form videos or need something for a TV commercial, PlayPlay doesn't make sense. But you can absolutely take snippets from other video projects and break them into smaller videos. That's what we love to do. Also, they just launched a podcast tool to help podcasters use video to promote their episodes.

• Ooyala Now is the only product I have seen to date that shows me real-time usage.
• I like the people.

• Very simple-to-use but super professional looking video templates
• Intuitive platform for creating a story with video
• One-click resizing for social formats
• Amazing customer success--if you need it--offering recommendations to make your video look amazing
• Access to Getty Premier for video and image stock

• Ooyala's integration with the ad serving platform is not as good in terms of user interface and user experience.
• The user interface could be improved (making it more like YouTube and Vimeo).
• The feature that provides scheduling could be improved to be seamless for publishing to Instagram.

• Product is very easy to use; I got a little stuck on changing font colors with text
• Automatic subtitling is amazing, but you do need to adjust the words per screen

We have used all the rival products. Ooyala has been our favourite for years, but feel like they have stalled in new product development.

• Ooyala certainly helped improve ROI.
• It also provides a strong capability for integration with other marketing automation tools for improved digital marketing ROI.
• Reduction in cost of operations can be easily achieved with integrations with multiple software applications.
