Informatica MDM

Informatica MDM is extensively used in projects for master data management. In order to maintain a single version of data while collecting from the vendors, there may be a chance of getting duplicate records. in order to eradicate these errors, Informatica MDM plays a major role to deduplicate the data in the UI version.

Informatica MDM

  • It has exceptional functionality for customizing and combining data, like filtering and unifying. This is important if multiple sources can contain data from single customers.
  • It has a very advanced flow editor where you can add logic and rules in a clean flow-like environment.
  • It can connect to almost any datasource, with unlimited scheduling options.

We are happy with the software and its functionality. As a SAS-shop, DataFlux is a logical choice for complex data integration.

I'm not sure since I never used support. My colleagues never had any issues with it, therefore my rating would be an 8 with a certain range of uncertainty.

Informatica MDM

Informatica Cloud MDM was not available at the time of implementation. It has a direct connection with Salesforce, but as far as I can determine it is a solution that only addresses Salesforce and does not enable the sourcing of data from multiple external systems. Flat file support is lacking

Informatica MDM

  • As compared to the market cost it is a bit costly but does its job.
