DDMSPLUS vs. Pirate Ship

it seems to be able to handle multiple locations well. It has a good vpn connection. It makes working at home easy. The problem is it is still run on a dos system. They are removing it slowly, but not all aspects of DDMSPLUS are easy. In my experience, it is hard to get any types of reporting out of that system. For us, AP and payroll are impossible.

If you need mailing labels, Pirate Ship is cheap, very organized and creates SCAN forms for USPS

• Great average ship rates for USPS domestic and international.
• Tracking bulk shipments is easy.
• It integrates with chargify.

• it is based on a dos system so a new refresh would be nice
• better order entry and history lookup

• I wish unused shipping labels were flagged more clearly to make it easy to request refunds
• No multi-user functionality, so you have to share an account
• Better email notifications about things like undeliverable packages

There are a few people that are perfect ratings, but if you dont get one of them it is a little difficult to move forwards. [...], [...], [...], [...], [...]. If you talk to one of them your problems will be solved very quickly. The other support agents im not as familiar with but, in my opinion, some are good

I have not had to use Pirate Ship's customer support because their product is wonderful and easy to use. I am sure based on the quality of their product that their customer service is also fantastic

Pirate Ship is the best for USPS shipping labels, hands down.

• Things like contracts under the master account only instead of having to carry them through to all departments would be a plus!
