It helps visualize the aspects of storage usage which inturn helps in understanding stretches and reduce overall usage statistics. The price point seems little overwhelming to startups. It is complex in operating and needs tech help.

The Dell EMC Storage Resource Manager, compared to the Microsoft System Center, is more fast time-to-value with out-of-the-box monitoring, provisioning, configuration, automation, protection, and self-service. The Dell EMC Storage Resource Manager is also excellent at managing OBBs.

SCOM was quite overwhelming when we first set up a POC for it. There was just too much for one person to handle. With vROPs I can manage the product and provide the support needed for my environment. We also have a Solarwinds environment that provides us with a level of detail and alerting we have come to rely upon. vROPS takes it to another level because it links directly into vCenter to provide you with a complete picture of your virtual environment.
