Descartes Global Logistics Network vs. Detrack

Descartes Logistics Technology Platform has a control tower view which we have used a lot. It permits us to check on [the] real-time status of every truck, also has the features and option to communicate with the trucks' ELD, which gives us the most liable information about his current location and status.

As a trainer for the use of the software, it was surprisingly easy to explain to the final users how the software works, and being able to do that shorted the time for the theory training and left more room for the practical training, as for the actual use of the software it's very well suited to do what is meant to do, tracking is easy, implementation is fast, honestly teaching it was a breeze.

• Intelligence, it gets stuck in some areas of the country
• Integration with [other] apps, we would appreciate a collaboration with [other] tracking apps that can share the same information if they are being installed [on] the same device
• A better and clean dashboard, its face needs a renewal, a fresh look, adapted to the current trends

It is a powered tool that can be used by any of the current logistics (and why not?, non-logistics companies), that need a reliable, accurate, and well-based amount of information of the fleet, with ease. Using the [latest] technologies, integrating a wide view of transportation, inventory, [and] custom status on a single but not simple platform.

Detrack makes a difference in the time used for training new agents, while veteran agents who are already used to the software of this sort got entangled with the program very easily; the synchronization issues that were the main use in most of the complaints we received were fairly fixed but the impact was not as bad as it could sound but is a pebble in the road nevertheless. Compared to previous programs that we use in different campaigns, which can be very raw than Detrack we had an amazing time using it and teaching it.
