Devolutions Server vs. Trellix Mobile Security

I feel that Devolutions VLS is a great product which makes storing of secrets a hassle free job, as you can access your data in so many ways. Whether you are a small team who wants easy access to devices or for storing passwords to your internet sites to large teams with many types of devices to manage, and many types of information to keep safe.

The program really excels at basic mobile protection against malware and viruses. It offers some unique features as its anti-theft application that can help keep mobile devices from being used by unauthorized users. It works well when providing basic security for mobile devices out in the field or in remote work situations. However, it companies may need more extensive or additional security applications to ensure adequate protection

• Role based access control.
• Active Directory Integration.
• Remote Desktop Manager integration.
• Password Vault.

• The program does well with virus and malware scanning abilities.
• It also has a unique anti-theft feature that can help secure mobile devices.
• The program offers multiple privacy roles that allows sharing of different levels of access to applications.

• Easier ways to adjust inherit or at least access directly into a file/folder. If I want to give a user access to a specific folder inside a project, I have to manually remove his access to other folders in that project.

• The program could use some improvement in its setup and installation process.
• Another area needing improvement could be its interactive interface.
• Perhaps a learning tutorial or guide could be added to the application.

I think that we will stick with this service for as long as possible.

LastPass has a browser extension that I use daily. Granted I am a free user of the application not a paid user so there is probably a difference. LastPass does have the autofill option which is a great option when accessing multiple sites instead of having to open the password vault itself.

McAfee Mobile Data Protection offers basic security measures for mobile computing devices without a high cost or extensive training. However, it also may lack some needed features such as data encryption utilized by other products. While its interface is not perfect, it is easier to learn than more feature robust products on the market.

• We are very new to Devolutions in this company, so we can't say yet.

• McAfee Mobile Data Protection provides a fairly easy and low cost security measure for providing basic to medium security for mobile devices. While not perfect, it does it basic job fairly well.
• The program may require a bit of a learning curve for some end users with its interface and installation processes. This may require some additional training or support.
• The program lacks some of the more advanced data protection abilities found in other competitor products. The result may be a need for additional security applications.
