TMA Systems
Among circuit design and printed circuit programs, it is ahead of other programs thanks to its accessibility and ease of use. Its most important feature is that it supports both the circuit design and the printed circuit program in harmony. This feature is not available in all programs. For educational purposes, students should be allowed to use it for a period of time. Especially if you do not have a license in program design devs with processors, you cannot try programs with more than 2KB.

MaintainX
MaintainX would work best for any organization that has work orders with multiple steps to complete (especially for repeated work orders) and multiple employees to manage. It would also be especially good for businesses where the work schedule is variable or if the same steps need to be completed regularly

Cons
TMA Systems
  • Path deficiencies need to be considered when transitioning the program from ISIS circuit design to ARES printed circuit drawing.
  • Especially if you are working on a processor design in ISIS, the external oscillator circuit does not pass when you transfer it to ARES.
  • In LCD and motor applications, the circuit sometimes does not work.
  • It changes according to the years in its own versions and old files are not opened in new versions.

  • Missing some functions, but the team is always on top of innovation so if I don't see it today, it may be there tomorrow.
  • Wish there was a simpler way for operators to complete inspections rather than having to create work requests.
  • Pricing is confusing and the way that they have their billing set up is strange.

  • It has helped not only my team, but the management of our company to see what we do and how we are doing maintenance.
  • Our inventory is a lot to work on, but MaintainX has changed the way we used to inventory and makes it easier for the team to check out or put away parts.
  • Having QR codes around our building for requesters and maintenance to scan has helped out when trying to decipher where the problem is.
