ecomdash vs. Elastic Path

It would be well suited for a business that is just starting out with inventory management and sells on multiple channels. They are a growing company that is constantly changing and making improvements. I don't think there is another competitor out there that can offer the same features at their price point. It may not be well suit for large organizations.

Elastic path is a cost-effectively product which bring the advanced capabilities to enable business to drive a better customer experience. The ecommerce solution is very clean and it is built heavily using open source tools.Elastic path ecommerce is definitely a strong competitor which would fit for any retailers / telco's .

• User interface. The whole thing feels clunky.
• Knowledge-base. Their searchable knowledge base isn't really all that helpful. It feels like it was written as an afterthought.

• Product management tool should be assesible over web.

eComdash always answers our questions, and they have a call-back system to speak on the phone which is very convenient. The people there actually understand the complexities of the software and understand our problems when we explain them. Things get solved quickly and we feel like they care about the speed of the resolution.

As a system integrator here are my thoughts -- Elastic path is one of best ecommerce tools, which would fit any retailer/ telcos business needs. The software architecture is well thought through and it is built with open source tools, the Ecommerce application is easily extensible and it enables clients to get there E-commerce application in less time. We have evaluated other products like ATG ecommerce, WCS, Magento. Elastic path is definitely a briliant ecommerce product which I would recommend to any clients.

• Allowed us to keep inventory in sync across multiple platforms preventing overselling.
