Epicor Propello vs. Visual Retail Plus

There seem to be too many one-off issues that pop up every few to several months. One issue that occurs semi-regularly, is a Price Update issue. The file we receive from DIB is just out right ignored by the Propello system. Upon talking to Retail Tech Support at DIB, they double check it on their end to make sure there isn't a bigger issue, which 10 out of 10 times, there isn't on their ends.

• Interface extremely easy to learn and use from back end to front end user.
• Customer service is extremely responsive. Tickets are reponded to and taken care of quickly.
• Reporting features are easy to use and get the information you are looking for.

• Running reports: Scope is very, very limited and not overly relevant to my industry (retail: pet store)
• Brand Name is largely an after thought (not even a search filter), but in retail settings Brand is a very important aspect.
• Inside support team isn't as educated on Epicor Propello as they are other Epicor software which can cause delays in translating issues.

It is honestly just so easy to use and setup. This has helped our culture at work a ton! The crew used to get very nervous about running register, that is not the case anymore

Lightspeed had consistent issues with the software being down and little to no support. It also didn't have easy functionality to receive orders via a mobile device. Epicor Propello's team is very receptive to feedback and has made changes we suggested.

• TV increase by being able to track sales easier
• increases sales by preventing downtime with internet outages
• increased manager production due to ease of training on the POS for new cashiers.
