Honestly, it just works. It works, price is fair, and the customer service is great. In 2020, I want a product that works, and excellent customer service. They provide that

QReserve
Definitely great for booking meeting rooms, private conference rooms, etc. I wish there were more options for viewing a sort of "who's in the office when" schedule. I would also like some sort of weekly reminder function -- e.g. can you send a message to the whole team (generated by QReserve) every Monday morning to remind them to book space in advance if they will be coming into the office in-person at all that week. One thing I will say is that their customer service team is VERY helpful and responsive any time I've reached out to them (which is definitely not the case with so many other tech / software tools!)

Cons
Eptura (formerly Condeco and iOFFICE + SpaceIQ)
  • More direct integration with Microsoft tools such as Teams and Outlook.
  • Functionality more akin to special events check-in that can be used when necessary.

QReserve
  • Better visibility of who has booked which space
  • More pricing tiers -- the free version is not quite enough, but the cheapest paid version has way more features than we need
  • When booking a space, some of the fields to customize the details on what the space is being used for are not intuitive / obvious enough, so my staff often do it incorrectly

Alternatives Considered

Envoy would be an alternative. Honestly, they do the same thing but have different names. At the end of the day, it comes down to cost and functions. Price your product right and give them the functions they need and that's all you need to do; word-of-mouth is the best advertisement!

We looked at Skedda and a few others. I can't remember the specifics since it was over a year ago, but QReserve definitely seemed the best in terms of price, ease of implementation, and ease of use.

  • Easy for administrators / less busy-work managing the space. When someone needs a space, I just tell them "book it on QReserve!"
