ERA-IGNITE vs. vAuto Conquest

ERA-IGNITE works well for day to day operations at Car Dealerships. It will maintain your customer records. It is lacking a little in mainlining employee records, as you have to switch back and forth between ERA "blue screen" (older version) and IGNITE "point and click" (newer version). Overall, though it will get the job done.

Use this tool to calculate your entry value, reconditioning budget and plan, and retail exit strategy. Seeing what "recent" units have sold is helpful to interpret a more accurate time to sale prediction

• I like when you are punching journal entries, checks, etc. you get the schedule balance at the bottom. That is very beneficial.
• Payable checks are well done. You can pay by invoice or vendor.
• There are numerous reports that you can create in RMI to help with any specific reporting that is needed.

• Provides an exceptionally simple interface to see what is desirable in the market
• Can be set to automatically adjust pricing based on turn rate and market demands
• Integrates very well with the other products offered by Cox Automotive

• The Financial Statements can only be printed on legal and instead of scrolling through it to look at it you have to navigate it at the top with the arrows.
• Their time clock is not user-friendly. You cannot just pull up one person and look at their time and make changes. You have to go through like you want to print, look at the time for the employee to find errors, then back out and go into a different screen to correct.
• Giving employees access to different functions is a nightmare. It is not at all laid out the way Ignite is used, and there are numerous hidden check boxes.

• Show me comps for my unit across different model years
• Make full MSRPs available for retrieval
• Show me original MSRP price of my appraisal
• Allow me to require options to be selected prior to closing appraisal when appropriate
• Show me an alert for a recall with no remedy

Customer service has been a primary selling point of all the products we use through Cox Automotive. They have been great on every level, from implementation and setup to post-install support to technical support, they go far above and beyond the norms I have seen in other companies within this realm.

It's been so long since I have used a competitive product to vAuto, it is no longer found on the list. If the other product were an Apple product, it would compare to an old iPod. Whereas, vAuto is a new iPhone
