Likelihood to Recommend Filmora is best for anyone who wants a medium-advanced video editing software but is not wanting to spend the time and money required to learn advanced editing software like Adobe Premier Pro. You can start making great looking videos in just a few hours with Filmora. Filmora is also a great option for professional video editors who want a lighter, faster and more fun program for editing smaller projects like videos for social media and video ads[.]
Read full review Definitely suited for a business that has a presence on the internet. It is a relatively easy program to use and will make your video quality look professional. It doesn't matter what business you are into, if video is something that will take your company to another level than this is a good program to get the job done.
Read full review Pros Edits videos very well. Records the screen of your computer perfectly. This is great if you are an architect because you can show on a video how you make your renderings and plans with Autocad, chief architect premier, Adobe photoshop or even revit. You can cut videos perfectly and add music to them easily. You can use several predesigned themes to create any video you desire. You can add as much text as you want to your videos There are several filters you can use to improve the images on the recordings. Read full review Quick and easy video and audio editing. Great transition options. Read full review Cons The enhancing half is a bit bizarre, it is like you're driving in the UK, I am undecided why they selected to reverse clipping and reduce movies More often than not I've to deal with not screwing up the video timeline however accidentally delete or enhance a clip. I hope they modify it to a extra common enhancing mode. Read full review The advertisements to upgrade need to go. I understand you guys gotta make money but I already paid for the product I have and I don't need a popup every time I open the program telling me there is an upgrade available for $xx.99. Better documentation on how to use certain plugins. DirectorZone is pointless. Matthew James Junior Systems Administrator | POS Programming Specialist
Read full review Usability Everything I have tried to do was easy to figure out. The export and online store where you get additional titles, etc. have very minor issues, correct those and it's a solid 10.
Read full review Support Rating I'm giving this a ten because I haven't needed the support in any way, however, I've gotten correspondence from them letting me know that they are available if needed. I've seen reviews saying the support is lacking but those were years ago. I'm assuming they've figured everything out by now.
Read full review Again, I haven't tried a whole lot of different video editing software over the years, but of the ones I tried, PowerDirector seemed to be the right fit for me and the team I worked with. It helped solve the need for tutorial videos and it allowed us to create a bunch of videos in a very small time frame. I recommend it especially for people without a lot of video editing experience
Read full review Alternatives Considered Filmora is easy enough to use after you get started. There are other programs with more functions but that depends on what you need it for. Just for cutting and small editing Filmora is really great and useful. Movavi has more functions, or at least it felt like it but therefore is more complicated to use.
Read full review I choose PD because it is user-friendly and easy to learn.
